Tom Ford Cheek Color: 07 Narcissist

Let me start off by getting this out the way before I keep typing, "I don't pop molly, I rock Tom Ford"
Now that I've got that out of my system I can go on. If you follow me on Instagram, you will know I've recently added a few Tom Ford pieces to my collection. Two lipsticks (blog post soon), and a blush and brush that I received as gifts.
These products are so fancy seriously, I just love looking at them. I was lucky enough to receive this very elusive blush from TF called Narcissist. From what I can tell by searching for a link for this post this color is extremely hard to find. It's absolutely gorgeous and crazy pigmented.

I mean come on, just look at that packaging. This color is completely matte, no hints of shimmer but still smooth with no chalkiness.

The pigmentation on this blush is crazy, this needs a very light handed application.

Tom Ford blushes retail for $56.00 at department stores and on Tomford.com but check your local counter for this color, because I could not find this color anywhere online.
If you are looking to splurge a little on an amazing blush for spring/summer I definitely recommend this color and TF blushes in general.

Chanel JARDIN DE CAMÉLIAS Collection: Jardin Zen and 87 Sakura

I don't know about you, but my makeup buying habits are like this, if it says exclusive or limited edition, I'm MUST have it. Especially if its from Chanel.
This is the second spring collection put out by Chanel. Its called Jardin De Camelias, and it was exclusively available in Asia and on chanel.com.
I only picked up two items from this collection and I must say they are gorgeous. I picked up the quad called Jardin Zen ($65) and the blush in 87 Sakura.

This quad is gorgeous, each pan is embossed to mimic a zen garden.

Perfect colors for a soft spring look, this quad as a lavender color, a champagne, a soft pink and a soft black. These colors can be used dry for a soft look or wet for something more pigmented.

This blush is such a nice natural flush of color type of pink. The powder is smooth in texture, and blends in beautifully. I would say this is a great color for light to medium skin tones, for a fresh look.

In all I'm really please with this collection. The quality is great, and with the quad and illuminating powder (which I didn't pick up) the packaging was simply gorgeous. I would recommend checking out chanel.com and browsing this collection. The collection is limited edition and will not be available for long. The sakura blush has already sold out.
If you so check out this collection please be sure to leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

UK/US Swap with Mountain Beauty

The one thing I've enjoyed the most about blogging is the online beauty community. It's so fun connecting with so many other girls obsessed with makeup like I am. Another cool thing about that is that a lot of these new friends are from all over the world.

I had the privilege to do a beauty swap with Katrina from Mountain Beauty, you can also follow her in twitter HERE and you can also read her post about out swap HERE.

It was really fun pick out new products that might not be available in the UK. And it was fun receiving so many cool products that I can't get here in the US.

Here are a few pictures of some of my favorite things.

These weren't all the things I received, just some of my favorite. Be sure to stay tuned for review/swatch posts on these and some of the other products I received.
Thanks again to Katrina for doing this swap with me, I really enjoyed picking out products to send you.
Don't forget to go check out her post here.

2014 Blogger Challenge: Books

Here is my next post for the 2014 Blogger Challenge, all about books.

The first book I recommend is the Beauty book from Lauren Conrad. This book is really good for all makeup lovers. Full of tips and tricks and lots of really good information. Learn about skincare, makeup application, and even hair tutorial.

Another set of books I would recommend to any Chanel lover like me is this set of 3 books. I found mine on Amazon by simply searching "Chanel 3 book set" Each book is about a different aspect of Chanel culture. One book is about the N5 perfume about how the scent became so iconic and even the evolution of the bottle. The second book is about the jewelry, about how Coco Chanel drew inspiration from her life to create these jewels. The last book is about her and the brand itself. Each book is fulled with pictures and past advertisements seen all over the world. The pictures are beautiful.

Tiny CVS Haul - LE Color Tattoos and Instant Age Rewind Concealer

Yesterday, during lunch a drove down to the CVS next to my job. The plan was to only run in to get Advil ... well along with that Advil I picked out just a few things.

Maybelline was having a sale, spend $15 get $5 CVS bucks. I picked up a concealer and 2 of the limited edition Color Tattoos.

I picked up the Brightening shade, its a pinky color.

With no concealer ^

With concealer only on left eye in picture. Overall I was impressed with the way it actually did brighten my under eyes.

Chanel Les Beiges plus Holiday Le Brillant Glossimer Duo Set

My all time favorite Makeup brand would have to be Chanel. So, when I'm able to pick up a product or two at the Chanel counter its a huge treat. The Les Beiges powder has been on my wish list for a few months now.
The shade I got was number 50, I originally thought this color was on the darker side for my skin tone, but I found that these powders are pretty sheer and give you a nice finish.

I'm in love with the packaging for this line. The beige and black are just so chic and classic looking.

This is a heavy swatch of the color, it blends out so nicely for an airbrush look on top of your foundation or BB/CC cream.

So, while at the Macy's Chanel counter I saw they had a few holiday sets available. My favorite way to get new products is when they come in sets. I could not pass this up. They has a nail polish set and a lip  gloss set. I went for the gloss.

Along with the 2 glosses the gift set included a pencil sharpener and a mini Chanel lip liner in the color Nude.

I'm so happy with my Chanel pickups. These products do not disappoint.
