March 2014 Ipsy Bag

Another month another Ipsy bag. This month was a good one, I got a few things I'm really excited to try. I wasn't fond of the bag design, but I like the concept.

Here is a better view of the bag, the print itself, I don't like. I do like the idea that they are featuring new artists to design the bag.

This liner, OH EM GEE, this felt tip is so fine you can get the thinnest line. I have a few liners like this but none with such a fine tip. I'll try out the blue shade and see how the formula is, if I like it, I would really be interested in getting the black one.

This isn't the first time be a Bombshell cosmetics has been featured in an Ipsy bag, but its the first eyeshadow from them I've seen. The formula is really nice they seem really smooth and blendable. I really like the pigmentation on these shadows. I'm sure that pop of blue will look really nice under the lash line during the summertime with a bronze lid.

I seriously love minis, this lipstick is very cute. The color is Get Ready. Its a very nice every day type of color. The coupon attached gives free shipping and a free sample with your order. I think that was a nice touch to the little sample.

These are what I'm most exited to try! I see face masks and these type on under eye masks are a really big hit in Asia and I'm so glad that the idea is making its way here. I can't wait to try these out. Two patches come in each pouch so I'm glad they gave us enough to try them out twice.

I would call this a good month, even though this month we only get 4 products rather than 5 I'm still happy with everything in my bag. Ipsy still knows how to do it.

February 2014 Ipsy Bag

Long time no blog... I know. I'm back with what I recieved in my Ipsy bag for February. It was a nice bag as usually, but nothing I was super excited for.

I was surprised with this product. I didn't think much of it at first, but after I swatched it, I loved it. This cream shadow is from the same company that does the Nailtini polishes we've recieved from Ipsy in past months.

 The color is Spiced Rum.

I'm excited to wear the color during the spring/summer.

For the price of $10 I think this was a good bag. The only thing I won't get much use out of is the lashes. Everything else I know I'll enjoy using.

January 2014 Ipsy Bag

Long time no blog, I know. Work and school have been a little crazy, and I lost my camera for a few days. Enough excuses lets get the the post. I received my Ipsy bag a few days ago and I they've done it again, a nice bag with fun products to try out. For the first time in a long time, I didn't receive any full sized products. They don't promise a full size item in the bag, but there is usually one included.

This first product I'm actually excited to try. I usually hate foil samples, BUT I don't mind them when they give you a couple. That way you actually get to try the product more than once.

This product might not be enough for all my hair, but I'll make it work.

At first I was most excited about this product, the color was pretty, it had a nice velvet texture. Then after trying it on and taking a picture of the product on my lips; when I took it off I noticed a few bumps of the edge of mu top lip, near my cupids bow. I freaked out, I might be allergic to the product. I'm not willing to try it again to find out. Luckily the bumps were gone by morning.

My lips looked fine when I put it on.

This product is actually really pretty and is in my purse now.  Beautiful tear duct/ inner corner color.

I tried to take a picture of the liner, but my camera wasn't cooperating with me.

Sorry its been so long since my last post. I will do better on bringing you all more posts. :)

December 2013 Ipsy Bag

It's that time again, my only surviving subscription box arrived. Month after month Ipsy has been good to me. After trying a few different sub boxes, I've left only the one I feel is the best one out there.

First off, I have to mention how nice the actual bag for this month is. I love the quilted leather look. This is one bag I actually plan on using.

This Pop beauty trio looks really nice. Since this sample is such a generous size a lot of people have been counting it as a full sized product. In fact, this would be considered a deluxe sample. This is a sample of the Pop Beauty 10 pan palettes, the shadow sizes are exactly the same. In the full size there are 10 shadows, which include these 3.
I'm not going to swatch these because I don't see myself using these colors, I would much rather save this product for maybe a future giveaway.

The NYX round lipsticks are amazing, they are pigmented they are creamy and they come in so many different shades. Again, I'm not going to swatch this one, this light pink is not my type of color so I'm stashing it away for a future giveaway.

Ok, I usually hate perfume samples, BUT I'm not too upset with this one. One, because they gave you two options, and Two, because of the size. The samples were a bit more generous compares to the average perfume sample. Unfortunately for me, the cap wasn't on tight enough and a good amount of the product evaporated. Also a plus, these samples had small caps on them, I thought that was a nice touch.

This is the size comparison of these samples to perfume
samples I've received from other sub boxes

This NICKA K polish brand is new to me, but its about at a drugstore price pont. I haven't swatched it, I would rather give this one away. I don't paint my nails anymore, and if I do it's gel. I'm just really bad at painting my own nails. The formula did seem a bit this and goopy.

This product was a bit exciting, the be a... bombshell's version of the Nars multiple. This product is marketed to be used on your cheeks, lips, and eyes. The color I got was a bit too red to use on my eyes, but there are lighter colors available of this product.

The product does blend nicely, I can see this as a nice spring/summer cheek color.

This is how much product you get in the tube.

I would say, another good month for Ipsy.

DON'T FORGET!!!
I'm co-hosting my first giveaway and it ends on DEC 25th.
Go enter if you haven't, and if you already have, don't forget to keep tweeting and sharing for more entries.

Ipsy GlamBag - July 2013

Seriously a really pretty, juicy watermelon color I think is great for the summer. To me, defiantly too much pink to be called coral.

Annoyingly couldn't rotate this picture. I've tried sea salt sprays before and they seem to always dry out my hair. Hopefully since this one claims to be good for your hair because it has soy in it, I'll give it a go.

This is good stuff. I tried it out without water. It was a bit harsh but I like that. I like feeling like all the dead skin is being taken off my face.

Once again, Ipsy for the win. All great products for the summer. Even the bag is a nice waterproof, perfect for the beach or pool clear pink bag. Can't wait to try out the Coola tinted sunscreen, hopefully the color works well on me. I have a non tinted sample that I received from Birchbox that works really nicely.

Out of all the beauty subscriptions I've tried I would 100% recommend IPSY. If you would like to check them out or subscribe you can CLICK HERE to use my referral link, or go to ipsy.com
